Hero Heather is a felted wool upholstery fabric by Patricia Urquiola that brings a new perspective to the world of mottled textiles. It consists of a yarn-dyed warp and a fabric-dyed weft and therefore offers an extraordinary variety of colours and textures.
Hero Heather is woven primarily from wool, a renewable raw material. To ensure optimum longevity, the upholstery fabric contains a small percentage of recycled nylon. Due to its construction, it is recyclable.
Due to its soft yet lively expression and durability, Hero Heather is ideal for spaces that offer a cosy, creative atmosphere. However, the textile is also ideal for use in private interiors.

Care instructions
Stain removal
If action is taken quickly, the formation of stains can be avoided as far as possible. However, complete stain removal cannot be guaranteed.Liquids or other dried residues should first be removed with a spoon. Loose particles must be vacuumed up before further cleaning measures are taken. Liquids must be soaked up with paper or textile cloths.
Grease and oil-free stains should be removed by carefully dabbing with a lint-free cloth or sponge squeezed out in warm water. Dabbing should be carried out in a circular motion towards the centre of the stain to avoid ugly rings. Greasy or oily stains should be removed with appropriate cleaning agents or solvents. Stain removers should always be tested on a visually inconspicuous area first to ensure that no undesirable effects occur.
The fabric must be completely dry before the furniture in question can be used again. Drying with a hair dryer may also be necessary to avoid wreaths. This applies in particular to all textiles made of microfibres.
The tips listed here are only recommendations and do not guarantee complete stain removal. We recommend contacting a professional cleaning company in all cases.
