Colour differences may occur

Still is an exceptionally soft chenille upholstery fabric with a natural look by Georgina Wright. The dynamic yet understated design references the colours of still life paintings by British artist Ivon Hitchens.

Made from chenille yarn, Still has a slightly striped expression that runs in the direction of the weft. Although Still is made from synthetic fibres, it has a subtle matt sheen and a dry feel that is usually associated with cotton.

Care instructions

Professional cleaning

Regular care and cleaning removes dirt before it becomes embedded in the fabric and damages the fibres. Proper care and regular cleaning can extend the life of the fabric and reduce the cost of renovation and repair, replacement and disposal.

Extraction cleaning/carbonated cleaning is intended for deep cleaning, which should only be carried out when necessary. pH-neutral carbon dioxide solutions are recommended as soap should not be used. It is important to use a suitable mouthpiece for upholstery fabrics as extraction cleaning is suitable for both upholstery and carpets. Make sure that the fabric is completely dry before use.

With bonded textiles, attention must be paid to the temperature of the cleaning agent, max. 55-60°C is recommended. It is also important to avoid excessive use of cleaning fluid and not to soak the fabric. If the fabric is heavily soiled, it may be necessary to repeat the cleaning process. We do not recommend using a steam cleaner, as the steam pushes the dirt deeper into the fabric and later reaches the surface.

Due to the excess dye in jeans, dark jeans can leave stains on textiles; cleaning does not always lead to a satisfactory result.
